Designation

Candidates should be Graduate in Mechanical / Civil Engineering with bright academic record having 10 to 12 years experience preferable in an Engineering Consultancy organization of repute.

In depth knowledge on American, British, DIN and Indian Standard and exposure to CAD and CAE Packages like AutoPlant / PDS / PDMS or Xsteel / STAAD or CAESAR-II/ Ansys / NISA / Cadworx / PV Elite and exposure to ISO quality systems is essential.

Candidates must be result oriented & should possess managerial qualities such as Leadership, excellent communication, trouble shooting, customer orientation, ability to learn, proactiveness, conceptual ability, analytical skills, good interpersonal relationship and development of subordinates.

The work involves creation of Process Flow (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation (PID) Diagrams, mechanical drawings and plant layout drawings.

Unique aspects of the job includes:
• Close coordination with chemical and mechanical engineers
• Preparation of customized client specific PFD and P&ID’s for each project
• Preparation of mechanical and plant layout drawings.
• Participation in review meetings with customers.

The candidate should have a certificate/diploma/degree in drafting. Proficiency in the use of drafting tools is required (MICROSTATION and/or AutoCad)

As part of a multi-functional design team, the designer/drafter must produce work that is consistent, correct, timely, and complete
Ideal candidate would have 2-4 years of experience with a reputed design firm
